Abby Road Driving offers a parent meeting at the end of each segment one class.

Agenda of the parent meeting is to talk about what to expect from the new driver and help parents to become the driving coach.

We will give information to parents on the steps to obtaining their new driver's level 1 and level 2 driver license. We also include information on the "STOPPED" program. This program is designed as a parental notification system that was developed by the Michigan Sheriff's Association. The goal of STOPPED is to reduce the number of young drivers who are injured or killed in motor vehicle crashes each year.

Annually over 3,000 drivers, ages 16 to 21 years old, die in the United States as a result of motor vehicle crashes.

MSA and your local Sheriff are pleased to offer parents this voluntary notification system that extends their watchful eyes and raises the level of awareness for drivers under the age of 21
